Tires with slow leaks or small punctures can often be repaired with tire repair kits. To help elongate the life of a tire, the Rubber Manufacturers' Association recommends that vehicle owners inspect tires once a month to make sure that tires maintain specified pressure levels. It's also recommended that tires are properly aligned and regularly rotated.
